Tizzy's name says it all!!!!! She is a whirlwind and in constant motion...and her name matches her personality. I acquired Tizzy from Jack and Bridget Brown of Raineylane Boxers and she was my first "official" conformation dog. I met Ike Liotto and he became Tizzy's exclusive handler. I also enjoy the show ring so at some of the smaller shows I've shown Tizzy myself and have pointed her. Tizzy unfortunately, like so many of our wonderful breed, has developed some major health problems. Tizzy only needed a 3pt major to complete her championship and we thought we had this achieved when she took Winners Bitch in Houston in 2005 but then she did not cross over for the major. Tizzy has been shown up until the middle of 2006 when her health test came back with results that forced me to make a hard decision....keep Tizzy out there to obtain that final major or keep her home and hope to make her life as comfortable and stress free as possible. Don't get me wrong, the shows didn't really stress her as it does some dogs but she gets so excited and keyed up when it's her turn to shine I felt that it might be too much for her health. So with heavy heart, as I know Tizzy deserves the Ch in front of her name, I made the decision to do what was best for Tizzy and decided to pull her from the ring. So instead of spending $1000's of dollars in show expenses, I now spend it making sure she has the best quality of life possible....but hey, she's worth every penny. She'll still go to some of the shows but now it will be as a spectator. However, she is leading a full and happy life at home and has enjoyed our newest addition to the household. I just hope she does not teach him all of her mischievous ways!!!!
